On October 30, 2024, the contract for the future strategic cooperation between VON ARDENNE and the Dresden University of Technology (TUD) was signed.
The agreement sets the framework for joint research activities and complements our previous commitment, such as our support for the Excite Lab - A Spin Lab Company.
The VON ARDENNE CS850 cluster system installed on campus will enable TUD scientists to test new material and process technology approaches. We can also use the system for our own experiments.
In addition to highly efficient systems, our customers also expect intensive technology consulting from us. The highly customer-specific material and functional requirements demand not only a deep technological understanding, but also knowledge of the latest developments in research. We therefore see the strategic agreement as an important step for both sides in expanding Dresden as a location for innovation.
