• find your way around machines with the help of circuit diagrams,
• assemble, wire and commission electrical and electronic components, switchgear and automation systems,
• be an expert in the careful assembly of our coating equipment, which is used, for example, to coat glass, metal strip or foil,
• supervise the manufacture, maintenance and monitoring of production equipment.

After completing your 3 ½-year training, you will be able to work as a skilled worker at VON ARDENNE in many different areas (prefabrication, production, quality assurance or assembly worldwide).

Your know-how will be in demand wherever modern drive and plant technology is in use.

Broad spectrum - never boring, always new. At VON ARDENNE you will become an all-rounder during your apprenticeship:

• You determine the properties of coatings or materials by means of tests or series of measurements.
• You will conduct tests, document them, analyze the results and prepare them for further use.
• You maintain our test facilities and components and keep them in good working order.
• You learn to use science and technology, as well as computer science and math.

After completing the 3 ½ year apprenticeship, the job opportunities as a skilled worker at VON ARDENNE are versatile. Whether in the supervision of a test plant in our technical center, or in the technological commissioning at our customers worldwide

Chaotic warehouse management?! Absolutely, but still with structure!

Because if you master the chaos, you can find even the smallest screw! It takes the sum of all parts to create a vacuum coating system in the end. Help to ensure that the required parts are in the right place at the right time!

At VON ARDENNE, during your apprenticeship, you will:

• receive delivered goods and check their quantity and condition on the basis of the accompanying documents,
• unpack the goods, sort them into containers and store them in the respective storage area,
• work with the latest technology (e.g. scanners) in a diverse and varied work environment,
• remove materials from storage bins and carry out internal transport using a forklift,
• get to know logistical planning and organization processes, which are very important with almost 30,000 different materials,
• acquire your forklift driver's license and crane license.

After completing the 3-year apprenticeship, you will have a wide range of job opportunities as a skilled worker at VON ARDENNE (in warehouse logistics or as an assembly logistics technician). Further qualification as a logistics foreman or logistics specialist is also possible.

• develop customer-specific programs and user interfaces.

After completing the 3-year apprenticeship, your job opportunities as a skilled worker at VON ARDENNE are versatile (software development, commissioning and service in Dresden or partly at our customers worldwide). Your know-how will be in demand wherever digitization is the focus.

Develop into a multi-talent with us! As an industrial management assistant, you will gain experience in all business management tasks. 

During your training at VON ARDENNE you will:

• Plan, control, organize and monitor processes,
• provide support in day-to-day business,
• work on projects.

The focus will be on working in our finance department. In addition, you will be gradually introduced to other specialist areas such as sales, procurement and human resources. In this way, you will gain far-reaching insights and learn about interrelationships.

We will develop you into a commercial all-rounder in our company. After completing the 3-year apprenticeship, you will have a wide range of opportunities as a skilled worker at VON ARDENNE.
